🔄 Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy

At Himalayan Bakes & Sweets, we prepare and package all bakery and sweet products with strict quality and hygiene standards in compliance with applicable Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) regulations.

Due to the perishable and consumable nature of our products, returns are not accepted once the products have been delivered.

Refunds & Returns

A refund or replacement request may be considered only under the following circumstances:

  • The product delivered is damaged, spoiled, or unfit for consumption at the time of delivery; or
  • The customer has received an incorrect product different from what was ordered.

To be eligible for review, customers must notify us within 24 (twenty-four) hours of delivery along with clear photographic evidence of:

  • The product received
  • Outer and inner packaging
  • Order invoice or order confirmation

Failure to report the issue within the stipulated time may result in the request being declined. All requests are subject to verification by our Quality Assurance team and, where applicable, confirmation from our logistics partner.

Refund Processing Timeline

  • Approved refunds will be initiated within 5–7 business days.
  • The refunded amount will be credited to the original mode of payment.
  • Actual credit timelines may take an additional 2–5 business days, depending on the customer’s bank or payment service provider.

Non-Refundable Cases

  • Incorrect address or contact details provided by the customer
  • Failed delivery due to recipient unavailability
  • Delays caused by factors beyond our control (weather, natural calamities, courier disruptions)
  • Change of mind after order confirmation
  • Minor variations in color, texture, shape, or taste inherent to handmade bakery and sweet products

Cancellations & Order Modifications

Once an order has been placed and confirmed, cancellation or modification is not permitted, as preparation and packaging commence immediately to ensure freshness.

Customers wishing to purchase additional items may place a separate order and mention the earlier order reference. While we will make reasonable efforts to ship multiple orders together, this cannot be guaranteed.
